Open Lots
Once you’ve decided you want to build a custom home, the next question becomes where? For most homeowners, location is a very important consideration. As you can imagine, the more popular a neighborhood is, the tougher it becomes to find an open or vacant lot available for sale. While purchasing open lots isn’t the only path to building a custom home, it is certainly one of the most straightforward.
To help expedite the search and acquisition process – be it for an empty lot that’s already listed for sale or an occupied lot with a home that is well-suited for tear down – the team at Kingbridge Homes wants to understand your preferences with regards to home size and style, location and overall budget. This allows our knowledgeable real estate team to begin looking for properties and prevents us from recommending lots for sale that are not in line with your overall vision.
Prior to your meeting with a Kingbridge Homes representative, we encourage prospective clients to consider the following:
- If you could pick any neighborhood, where would you choose to build your home? What factors influence this selection (ex. schools, proximity to workplace, etc.)
- What size house are you looking to build? As part of this conversation it is helpful to have an understanding of not only square footage, but also the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and any other specific features that might significantly impact the overall footprint of the house.
Once we have identified a property for sale that meets your needs, we can then begin planning the specifics of your custom home project. At Kingbridge Homes we offer a number of custom home floor plans with a variety of lifestyles in mind. Whether you’re looking for an expansive eat-in kitchen, a luxurious master suite or living areas designed for entertaining, we will work with you to design a home that reflects your dreams and your budget.
